Fees & Insurance
Insurance
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am currently in network with United Health Care and in process of getting contracted with BCBS NC and Aetna. My contract with Aetna begins on September 8th, 2025. Copays are due at the beginning of each session.
If you are hoping to use an out-of-network plan you will want to call your insurer and ask the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my out-of-network mental health benefit reimbursement rate?
Do I have a deductible and has it been met?
WHAT IS A “SUPER BILL”?
Since I am currently not accepting insurance, I am happy to provide a document at the end of each session called a “super bill”. This is something clients can submit directly to their insurance companies to get full- or partial-reimbursement for their their therapy sessions.
Fees and Services
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Individual therapy sessions (50 minutes): $150
Extended individual therapy session (75-90 minutes): $200
Brief therapy sessions (25-30 minutes): $75
Phone sessions: Fees based on applied time: billed in 15-minute increments. Please note that telephone sessions are not covered by insurance.
This practice operates on a “fee-for-service” model which means that fees are collected at the beginning of each session.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No shows and cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before an appointment will incur a cancellation fee of $75. Please take care to avoid this, especially since they aren’t covered by insurance.
